    Giving UC Berkeley Students the Freedom to Dream, Build and Innovate. Free Ventures is a student-driven organization that envisions a world where Berkeley students spend less time on class projects and more time on building tools that create a positive impact on people’s lives and the world. They believe that, with the right resources, students can be some of the most fearless and innovative thinkers the world has ever seen.

    The mission of this student-led design/build organization is to improve the quality of life in underserved nations through the design and construction of appropriate, sensible and efficient structures.

  • Design for America

    DFA students come from all backgrounds and majors to work in interdisciplinary teams and find new perspectives to create social innovation. The UC Berkeley chapter is par of a national network of student-led studios creating local and social impact through interdisciplinary design.
